Transfer from TN ( Johnson City ) to IA ( Des Moines ) Mail Processor / Mail Handler
I am a Mail Processing Clerk - Level 6 working in the JOHNSON CITY (TN) POST OFC - IN. My seniority date is 04/10/1999. I am currently working FT 5 days a week from 7 PM to 3:30 AM with Friday & Saturday off each week. My boss, coworkers, people living in the area here in TN are all great with NO INCOME TAXES, very low property taxes (only $ 1,000 per yr on a 200K home), inexpensive housing costs, low utility costs, low crime rates, good schools, and scenic beauty all around. Located ONLY a short drive from many nice locations: 1 1/2 hours from the Smoky Mountain National Park, Ashville, NC, Knoxville, TN, 3 hours from Charlotte/NC, 4 hours from Nashville/TN, only 5 hours from several nice beaches in South Carolina, and only 10/12 hours from Orlando / Sarasota / Florida Panhandle / or several other vacation hot spots in Florida.

Temperate mountain climate, great weather, NO WIND CHILL factors to worry about, and when snow comes on rare occasions it only lasts a few days before it melts. No brown snow in TN. :-)

NASCAR fans LOVE BMS / Bristol Motor Speedway with 2 great races - Spring & Summer.

Only reason for transferring from Tennessee is due to a recent death of a family member which requires me to seek family assistance for the care of my Mom who has Alzheimer's Disease. Hoping to move back to the Des Moines Iowa area where I started my career with the Post Office and where I have several family members who can assist with my Mom's care.

Need to transfer ASAP.

All offers will be considered.

Thanks, Tim
