1. Select the proper craft. (Mail Handlers, custodial, and others please use "All Others") 2. Click on New >> Discussion 3. In the Subject area enter where you are now and where you want to transfer to. (For example: Dallas to Orlando) 4. In the Message section include pertinent information. Information can include your name, position, duty hours, seniority date and related comments. Example: "Dallas to Orlando. My seniority date is June 2, 1991 and I wish to transfer to Orlando to be near Walt Disney World. Plenty of OT available in Dallas. All offers considered. Bill, 555-555-5555"

wish people would read this and put contact info on the postings, so we all can contact one another. Also, wish there was a way to deleate ones that have traded or have not logged on in awhile.

I ran into that same problem and got nowhere trying to get permission. It seems it's a function you must earn somehow. Oh well, if people were serious about transferring they would provide contact information or at least check in on their post if they have notifcations turned off and if they checked in on their posts you would think they would answer the replies. I think this is just a fantasy for some people.
When posting keep the header/subject short and sweet like "From here to there (or surrounding area). You will have plenty of space for more details in the listing. If you are not going to be ready to move in the near future or actually don't want to move say for another 6 - 24 months then include that information also. If you get your transfer (thus no longer needing it or just get cold feet) then be courteous and remove your posting so others don't wast time tying to contact you.
