Are mutual position swaps a thing of the past?
Having just spoken to my APWU steward, she informed me that mutual position swaps are no longer permitted. She quoted to me a policy that had started sometime during 2017, stating that no longer are position exchanges between clerks an acceptable practice. She also stated that E-Reassign was the only acceptable method for a clerks to change facilities. Can anybody lend credence to this fairly new policy? And if this is the case, then why is PostalMag still accepting ads with this purpose in mind?

Swaps are still good and accepted. One of my coworkers swapped few months ago. I’m looking to swap out of California ASAP. I’m a mail processing clerk. If interested, please text me. 619-992-4496
