EddyGReassignment ... 18 months lock in OR 12 months??
I am a PTF Clerk. I am in Northern California, and moved here from Tennessee 6 months ago to accept a “Career Position with benefits.” I spent a lot of money to move here for a part time job (and the opportunity.) I was not aware of the lock in period I got here. I hear it is 18 months. BUT ... I also read the contract, and I see it is 12 months IF I am going to a district NOT adjacent to mine. I want to reassign back to Tennessee. Anything I can to to get the lock in waived ?? My Postmaster insists it is 18 months. I read my situation as 12 months. Ideas ?? Input ??
