Aloha! I'm employed in Northern California and my wife lives on the Big Island, Hawaii. Full time. Currently I'm looking for a transfer, she will not travel to CA. We are Northern CA Kaiser members because of my employment. Kaiser in Hawaii just implemented a new policy, making 'visiting' members ineligible for care in their office, she must go to Urgent Care or Emergency. Kaiser will not make an exception, even after filing a grievance through them. Any suggestions!?! Options for care are limited in Hawaii and Kaiser was our best option... until now.
