I have a PTF position in review for the Dallas district and one for Arlington. With the financial situation of the Post Office would it be wise to take the position. I'm concerned about hours mostly.
ask what station you would be working at and call them. The PO is hurting for carriers and always will need them. Excessing did not happen like they thought it would. I am waiting for either a transfer or an e-reassign and I will not hesitate to take it!!

They are not promoting PTF to regular carriers. I heard here they only want to use them for four hours a day. Talk to union rep in that office. Good Luck
I know portland, OR just settled a grievance with their Local NALC. they are in need of 20 more PTF's which they would be converted to regular carriers after their 1st paycheck. contact them If you are interested.
I had transfer to arlington . I had to cancel it, could not sell my house in time to be there. PTF's are getting over 50hrs. What office in Dallas? Thanks, Bill
