Carrier from Arizona with 23 years in need some help, would it better to buy back my military time which is about 5 1/2 years. I also retire from the Army reserve with 22 years it that am just breaking down physically what would be my best option thxs

So your saying you have 5 1/2 years active duty and you have retired from the reserves with 22 years? If that's the case and you are receiving a pension from the military you do not want to buy back your time if you did you would forfeit your monthly pension check you receive from the military. In my case i had 4 1/2 years active duty got out never retired from the military and so i bought my 4 1/2 years to apply towards my postal years. I hope this has been of help to you
