Portland is a gem in the Northeast. Big city vibe in a scaled-back setting. Friendly, progressive people, nationally recognized food/beer scene, vibrant arts/music community, and an endless variety of outdoor activities. Did I mention that Maine is also unrivaled in pristine beauty? It's difficult to leave it all behind, but I am at a point where I need a change of scenery, and would really love to be closer to some dearly missed friends and family.
