Mutual transfer question Login/Join

We’ve been told we can predate our papers for the date that we want to transfer.

Our question is: will that date be what we want to be our last date in our current office or is it the day we want to be our first date in our new office?

HR doesn’t have many answers at all.

Thank you!

Btw the first day in your new office will only be one day after your last day in your old office. Of course most people will take annual leave or LWOP to move but if it was close enough in location you could work that Friday in your old office and the following Saturday in the new one.
