|  | From what I understand, after speaking with western area transfer specialist, you go on e-reassign if you are transfering as PTF. For mutual swap(body for body) you don't have to go on e-reassign. District HRs of both offices would decide after you guys submit all requests.Barring snags(i.e. accident, attendance, discipline...etc), the avareage is 60 to 90 days.  I have gone through 3 mutual swaps, and i'm in the process of another one. they all have had similar process and outcome.  good luck

|  | Kend, Mutual swaps have nothing to do with ereasign. With mutual swaps you bothmust contact each others postmaster and request a mutual transfer. If approved you would assume the lowest senority between the two of you. Scott |
