i am trying to get a mutal to Hawaii. Have been in review on ereasign for an ofc over there. How long does the selecting offical have to make a decision once they have all the paperwork thanks

From what I understand, after speaking with western area transfer specialist, you go on e-reassign if you are transfering as PTF. For mutual swap(body for body) you don't have to go on e-reassign. District HRs of both offices would decide after you guys submit all requests. Barring snags(i.e. accident, attendance, discipline...etc), the avareage is 60 to 90 days. I have gone through 3 mutual swaps, and i'm in the process of another one. they all have had similar process and outcome. good luck

the snags you talk about such as attendance. what happen if both carriers have flma cases on file?
do you have to also write to the postmaster?
from what i have been told they arent suppose to hold FMLA against you.
thankz michael! | ||||

ok, i have someone to swap with me and they say i have to go to liteblue and then resign, but i cant find it! can anyone help!?
once on liteblue scroll down to middle to you see tabs for eopf epayroll etc they scroll across the middle ereasign scfolls across click on it and it will take you to that page
its what i am doing but i gotta be doing something wrong! cause i cant put any info in?

Kend, Mutual swaps have nothing to do with ereasign. With mutual swaps you bothmust contact each others postmaster and request a mutual transfer. If approved you would assume the lowest senority between the two of you. Scott
